Alex Nutter

Alex grew up on her family's farm in Higham, Lancashire. Where they have a herd of suckler cows and breed pedigree Limousins along with having a flock of commercial sheep.

Growing up Alex's family had a meat wholesale business, this is where her passion for the agricultural and meat industry began.

At 16, straight from secondary school, Alex went to join the lairage office team at Dunbia, whilst at Dunbia she covered a number of different roles within the livestock and transport departments. After 10 years with Dunbia, Alex moved to work for Morrisons, managing the Livestock Administration team based in Colne and laterley progressed into a trainee livestock buying role where she is responsible for Morrisons' Dairy Beef Scheme alongside buying beef and lamb. 

Away from work Alex enjoys showing her pedigree Limousins at local agricultural shows. 

Alex was heavily involved with her local young farmers club, Pendle YFC, where she was chairman of the club for 3 years, she loved to take part in stock judging and organising social events. Alex recently became a member of the Meat Business Women network.
