The Cumbria Futures Leaders Steering Group: New Committee Members Required
The Cumbria Futures Leaders Steering Group (OPEN TO PEOPLE UK WIDE, NOT JUST THOSE BASED IN CUMBRIA):
We have been asked if one or two of our Farmstock Futures folk would like to join the committee so they can represent the Agricultural sector.
The steering group brings together youth boards, youth groups and young professionals to create a collaborative youth voice for Cumbria. The Steering Group works collaboratively to shape the activities for Cumbria Future Leaders, a programme created by Centre for Leadership Performance, with current funding from Sellafield Ltd for the Your Future.Here programme. As part of the offering from CFL, young people can access a plug-in place to find opportunities, development programmes, mentoring, events, and much more. The next meeting is on Tuesday 8th February, 5pm-6:30pm. This one will be face-to-face at CforLP office in Cockermouth, but there will still be dial-in options. You can attend without committing to see if it is something you would like to be involved in.
