Having left school at 16 and going into sport gaining ASA swimming level 1 & 2, lifeguard, trampoline and football coaching, I found I missed being at home on the farm and the outdoors. I enrolled at newton rigg and returned home to work alongside my dad. We lost everything to foot and mouth and when we restocked, I started Low Ardley Texel flock and built it up to what we have today 120 ewes, selling 30 shearling tups yearly. I have now introduced Leicester’s onto half the pure Texel’s now for breeding ewe to keep and sell. My showing skills have improved year on year and had my first trip to the Highland show in 2019 returning with ribbons, I have judged a few shows now too. Also, in 2019 I received a rural farming award to recognise all my hard work.

I have been a member of Whitley chapel YFC for the past 15 years now and put them on the map winning the national floral art at the Malvern show back in 2012, also that year I was part of the winning national panto cast.

4 years ago I started my new adventure and bought my first pure limousine which is slowly growing and gaining new idea and experience.
